He emerged clean-shaven, BBS, not a single nick, weeper nor irritation. He looks younger, smell terrific and he's now interested in my gears in my shave den... I can now justify getting more soaps/aftershaves and blades...and maybe another razor...
I planned to introduce him to some really safe metal razors (after the feather popular)...like the Gillette Rocket...
I can only imagine if he'll take over my vintage Gillettes...
Thanks for your kind words.Aside from the physical impact of a DE shave, looking cleaner/tidier, smelling better, the main reason I'd always advocate this fantastic hobby is the psychological impact of a shave; I find it can be invigorating few minutes of one's day to wake up, have a bit of time to one's self when they aren't looking at a screen (be it phone or computer), and attempting to look one's best, which may seem like a flippant one but I genuinely believe taking pride in one's appearance is greatly beneficial to one's being.
Delighted to hear your son's first DE shave was a successful one.
A good recommendation for a Feather Popular as well, but if you have any Techs at your den then pass one onto him!
Hate to think what you got up to for your 11th.I remember when my old man showed me the "ropes", e.g., shaving, smoking, tipping strippers, etc. Best 10th birthday a kid could have.
Hate to think what you got up to for your 11th.
