Tea connoisseurs?

Ringtons vans sell all over the NE as you may imagine they even leave packets whether you want/need them or not. However there is a stall in the "covered market" in Newcastle called Pumphreys (they do have a website also) which specialises in both tea and coffee and supply the most magnificent products.

As an aside I was in the 'Tea House' in Covent Garden, last week, and bought 125g of English Breakfast but I have yet to taste it. That will be remedied within the hour.

I live right on the edge of Ringtonsvanland... I can tell you that Ringtons' Earl Grey is absolutely rank. I'd avoid it like the plague.

Just an interesting point but I'm currently using my espresso machine as a tea maker, works beautifully.

They seem to have removed the Irish loose leaf from their website, they still make it though as I just bought a few kilo's.

Ringtons man makes as far south as Selby North Yorks. Like their loose tea, not so keen on their bags, good selection of biscuits, it changes from month to month.
