Looking for new trousers and it has been a while since my waistline was 32 inches!!
I now have to buy my clothes from one of the many 'Tall and large' online clothing companies. It's rather insulting to have to buy my clothes this way considering what a super svelte fella I was. But they add insult to injury by sending clothes a size (or two) bigger if they don't have my size in stock!!!

It has gotta stop. Have bought a cycle trainer/fitness machine and my Broon Ale and Chinese takeaway supper nights will be rationed to 5 a week!!! No pain, no gain.

Aye bonny lad. I like to think that I have only put on a few pounds since my Army days....but having to buy trousers in size (I can't actually say the words) is proof of the ravages of Geordie nosh to my waistline. :icon_razz:

We have one of the said larger shops a couple of miles down the road, which is lucky really as my stepson usually wears 5XL. I feel a bit lost in there as only being 5'8", with a 32 inch waist there is nothing in there that comes close to fitting me.
