No, but they're similar enough to be regarded as such composition-wise. The stick is more sticky, the bowl less so.

I actually prefer the stick even though M&W told me it was the same stuff.

I much prefer it in a bowl. I stuffed mine in a ramekin dish, it worked well in that. I now have it in the ceramic bowl version.

Interestingly, the stick and the stick re-fills have different ingredients listed.

Not significantly so, but I still think it's odd.

I have been backwards and forwards over this stuff for three years (due to the scent) but have been using it non-stop for a few weeks again and think it is great.

I've got a couple of sticks (thanks to N1vlo) but have been using the 'proper' soap which just so happens to fit into an Old Spice shaving soap mug . . . with a bit of encouragement.

I have both cake & stick. The stick i have has a milder scent than the cake I have. Lather wise they are both excellent.
