I use soap, aftershave and deodorant stick, great performance, the scent is nice and strong but lingers for too long, after a couple of hours it's kinda tiring but the soap is still in my rotation.

The performance always impressed me but I wasn't sure of the scent. However, it has really grown on me so much so that I promoted Tabac to being used every 2 weeks in my rotation instead of every 6 weeks. Also, I got the shower gel, deodorant stick, aftershave balm, aftershave lotion, hair cream and a shaving stick for my travel kit.

As it happens, I trotted it out this morning. I've gradually, rather than instinctively, come to appreciate the scent. But it's an effortless soap to use, producing slick, thick, rich lather easily.

My BBS shaves since getting back into DE the last few weeks have all been with Tabac, even with different blades. Probably one of the most foolproof soaps out there.

Definitely try the fat first, Tabac and Speick are good but MWF is a right of passage! Sorry to say a sample just wont do, been there and done that - It just doesnt load the same, in fact I've come to the conclusion soap samples are useless for judging anything other than the scent.

The trick with MWF & Tabac is to forget how cheap they are as their performance bears absolutely no relation to their price. The Fat needs blooming first then load the shit out of it. Post-shave on the Fat is top drawer & it just smells kind of soapy. Tabac smells nice to me but will probably remind you of germolene. ;-)

I've actually started wearing it again... But only a little dab, I think its easy to over apply. Its definitely at its best this time of year.
