Well, when you try them, you might find that the Palmolive and ARKO sticks are excellent (if a bit controversial) soaps. Especially the Palmolive lather gives very good protection and glide.Just what you said. Presuming..
Been doing this for years...though I leave it over the weekend till it fills the pot completely...and I mean right to the brim! Once you've bloomed MWF, seriously, it's one of the easiest soaps to lather...never had an issue with it.The Fat would crack the bowl if it wasn't the size it is. Just add water (and by add water, I mean fill up the bowl) wait 24 hours and then try it. I guarantee you will have more lather than you could shake a stick at...and the puck will have filled the bowl.

Hydrated is my preferred jargon. It describes it a bit more accurately, in my opinion.Haha. I just thought that was the correct jargon! How about we refer to it as an expanded and hydrated state instead?

I can see a reasonable analogy when a brush blooms - in fact it says a lot more than a brush has been hydrated. However, I'm with you on the soap thing PoM.I really hate that word, 'bloomed.'
