Had a go with this blade today, The sound was more intense in the Muhle R106, but I'm not sure that they really go together well. The shave was ok, but got the feeling of a lot of "missed bits" that I didn't get with the Gillette Platinum. I am beginning to learn that not all blades work in all Razors and that some seem to suit each other really well. Results so far I've found the Gilette Platinum to be the best blade with the Muhle R106, and I guess that might just be my Muhle R106. Think I'll try the Gillette Platinum in the Outlaw Mild next.
