I bought a Kropp of the bay for £1 to practice honing. I destroyed the edge by scraping it across
a sheet of sandpaper then set to honing it.
It turned out better than expected and I had a shave this morning with it. Very sharp and a very smooth shave.
Having said that, it took a long time to get the edge.
All in all a good experience.
