Razor Wade & Butcher 13/16 Wedge
Interesting shave with this excellent razor. Initially stropped on the Kanayama, the 1st pass didn't feel as crisp, so strop on the Kangaroo instead, and wow...there's a difference! The edge is crispier and the rest of the passes are more enjoyable resulting in a nice bbs-ccs finish!

New Razor Day! Brand new custom Drew Dick 8/8", 1/4. Center is 01, two layers of copper, two layers of canister damascus form the outside. Cocobo scales. Really keen and soft edge. The copper slices go all the way down to the tail, really amazing workmanship.
This is now the centerpiece of my custom's collection!

That is a real beauty!! Enjoy...!!

Razor Henkotsu Kamisori
Today's shave with this razor freshly finished on the new hard black Arkansas with just water (dressed on 800 grit SiC). The edge was very comfortable and keener compared to the last use. It's been a while since this razor felt so good. I guess what's been said about the ark is true but I need to try it out more. 3 passes for a dfs-sas result...

New edge on the Riviere. Tried 2 layers of tape to get a bit more of an obtuse cutting edge, it worked pretty well I have to say, I have a very hard beard so most razor don't like at all a 2 or 3 days beard. This one did very very well, I still had to strop after the first pass, but then again, I always have to with that sort of growth. Very very comfortable shave, so i think I'll keep that bevel from now on.

Thanks to diamond-pasted balsa (and Kanayama), this razor's edge is buttery soft smoothness and very keen. The shave from it is just awesome, beating some of my more illustrious razors. 3 efficient passes for a bbs-dfs finish...

The razor was put through the HB Arkansas and although the edge is acceptable with reasonable smoothness, the sharpness requires further enhancement with the diamond balsa. 3 passes for a ccs-sas finish...

This razor potential is further realized in today's shave. Previous use was not keen enough. After putting it slowly through the 0.1um balsa followed by the Kanayama... the razor's edge is now silky soft smoothness and very keen. Almost did not feel the edge. 3passes for a good bbs-dfs finish...
