Straight Razor ID and info?

Hello.

Went over to Buxton today. Nice sprinkling of snow and clear blue sky made the scenery itself worth it.

Whilst there, we had a wander around the Antiques Fair at the Pavilion Gardens, where I picked up the razor below.

It's a 5/8 blade, about 3/4 hollow ground (I think!). The scales have a little logo of two rotund gentlmen facing each other, and this is also stamped into the shank next to the word 'DEBUT. On the flip side of the shank it's stamped, unsurprisingly, 'Solingen.

The blade seems to be in reasonable nick, no nasty pits, rust, or chunks missing from the edge. It feels like it could stand a re-pinning, and then getting up to shave ready.

Pictures below. Let me know what you think.

It is a Kobar brand razor, made from "Diamond Steel" - Kobar was a mark used by Friedrich Emde of Solingen - he appears in the Solingen registers between 1922 and 1939 at No. 51 Kanalstrasse.

I have had three or four of them over the years, and they have all been excellent shavers - as good as any razor out of Solingen.

Regards,
Neil
