Stone question.

Has anyone got one of those new thuringian stones you can buy from a European shop. The reason I ask is I have a Ardennes coticule, and was lucky to pick up a vintage coticule quite a few years ago, also a Chinese wet stone and a Welsh slate hone. Would buying one of these new thuringian stones be of any use to me taking into account what I already have.
By the way I am happy with my honing as it is, but you know what its like with this hobby

I have an old double sided chinese whetstone, the finest is about 5000 Dry reducing to around 7000 when oiled.

It works very well for me and I dont need another stone as a tool, .....but if if was to find a new old stone that was in its wooden box then need would not be a factor.
