Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Kenya Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 49 boar.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave sticks.(grated)
Blade: Lord Shark Super Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel./ P&G Old Spice Whitewater ASL.

Early morning combined face & head shave.

The Palmolive classic stick duo never fails to provide a superb lather, and works so well with the Omega 49 boar brush.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of P&G Old Spice Whitewater ASL.

My face and precious swede are feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

shaved last night and still smooth as glass this morning. the fizzy ginger ale scent is growing on me. I think flydear blades are just a bit smoother and this gave a touch more aftershave sting but could be almost identical. the razor was great as always.

Have not used this modern “ Injector “ for some time, am finding it a harsh Shaver compared with those delivered by most of my AC Razors.Am beginning to wonder if it is a duff blade, as previously enjoyed using it.

Tuesday morning (I think…) shave

Not much to talk about to be honest. The blade (Treet Classic) is plodding on nicely and the Rockwell is as the Rockwell always is - close and smooth. The hot weather has been drying out my skin especially while we are away with the harder water. It makes a huge difference to the process I find with soaps and closeness of shave. Quite interesting really. Made today’s shave a two pass with no against the grain and have been stealing from the wife’s moisturising stuff again to stay on top of things.

Today’s photo comes as a homage to the Lea soap. Not a huge scent and I’ve not done it any favours by sticking it in a plastic Tesco tub but it makes lathering a doddle. It’s a pretty darn good soap I find just getting on with things. Used the peach as a preshave.

Shaved every other day with a couple of head shaves thrown in, just an easy straightforward set-up that keeps one tidy. The Unstung Hero cologne does work at keeping the insects at bay especially the biters in the night! The cologne has an inoffensive scent of lemon tea.

I check for alignment issues then chuck the blade if it’s fitted correctly, life too short for dicking about with duff blade.
