I don't normally have any issues with the Testina Gentile. I had a blade in there for weeks and it was fine. I believe it was a Super Iridium. I replaced it with a green Astra. This was really uncomfortable. So I swapped it out for a Polsilver, that too was uncomfortable. I took the razor apart and it was still very uncomfortable.
I started on the Polsilver this evening, it was still awful. So I changed the blade for a blue Gillette Platinum. Finally a normal great shaving experience.

My Shave today consisted of...
Prep Aleppo soap.
Blackland Shaving Towel.
Brush Yaqi Lucky Dice.
Soap La Toja Stick.
Razor Titanium Blackbird.
Blade Silver Star.
Aftershave Proraso Green Refreshing.

Tonight I went for my trusty Blackland Titanium Blackbird and it pretty much gave me a one pass shave, I went ahead and did a second pass purely becauseIcould, and I am now smoother than a Dolphin I'm that smooooooooooooth.
The La Toja stick worked a lot better with my synthetic and I had enough lather on the brush for probably 4 passes.
All in all a 9.5/10 shave.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Coal Tar bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10066.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Sensitive Shaving Soap.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D2)
Razor: Parker 24C.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Benjamin's mentholated bay rum. /L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

I’m so glad that I've revisited the Voskhod blade they have paired together with the Parker 24C wonderfully. The balance of both the efficiency from the razor & smoothness from the blade is a great combo.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.
