SOTD : Saturday 7th April - Friday 13th April 2018.

Let your growth go for a few days and bring out the #6 plate on the Rockwell and you will see its capability.
It is such a smooth, comfortable shave it is unbelievable.
I will always have one in my den.

On another mentioned subject, I am currently reading "The Isis Hostage" by Puk Damsgard .

So difficult to comprehend how human kind can be so cruel to each other but I personally would be so intrigued to see these photographers works.
As they say, a picture paints a thousand words.

Brilliant write up as usual I, and I'll check out the Stirling.
Things are definitely heating up at the moment.
As the Chinese curse goes (well sort of)..
"May you live in interesting times"

I'm glad we dolphins are nonhuman, I just wish you lot would stop being inhuman.

Evening Single Pass Head Shave: first shave with this lovely Rotbart Mond-Extra RFB, silver plated fluted handle edition (the coolest I think). Milder than I expected, care has to be taken with angle to get the most from it, efficient when properly managed. 73g. Very very nice razor.

Greetings,

When i first introduced myself to the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving the aluminum handle gillette tech, along with the gillette slimtwist are the first & only vintage razors to enter my shaving den,These 40 years + razors will always be firm favourites of mine..let's see if the latest modern gillette offering will last and perform with brilliance for the next 40 years +.

Matched up with the gsb blade, it's shaving performance was amazingly smooth & efficient, my favourite blade match with this vintage lady.

A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finish the shave off in style with a liberal splash of 4711~ cologne - a/s lotion...Such a excellent splash.

My face is feeling smooth refreshed, & smelling devine.

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

~SOTD~

Prep ~ Shower, birch tar soap
Razor ~ Feather Portable
Blade ~ Gillette Bleue Extra NOS
Soap ~ Barrister And Mann ~ Roam
Brush ~ Omega Boar
Post ~ Barrister And Mann ~ Aftershave Splash ~ Roam
Scent ~ Barrister And Mann ~ Roam EDT

A great shave using the full complement of B&M Roam products, a wonderful scent along with the normal great protective slip & slide from the soap.
The Feather Portable is a fab razor that works well with most blades I pair it with and today was no exception, the NOS Gillette Bleue Extra's are far superior to the current Gillette Silver Blue (IMO) YMMV
A BBS finnish was acheved with no problem and I finnished off with a splash of AS splash and a spray or three of Roam EDT. Looking good and smelling great!

Have a nice day y'all ......P.

Brush: Omega S10083
Soap: Meißner Tremonia Wild Woods
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (4)

Having had some fun with my new razors and the Bic, I'm back to old faithful (Wilkinson Sword Classic) to test the blade for longevity. At shave #4 the Bic's still going strong. I'll try taking it to 5 tomorrow and then retire that edge.

Happy shaving.
