A sharp blade in a comfortable razor, a very nice lather applied with a face full of soft badger then 2 passes for a wonderful start to the day.
It was supposed to be my first day back in the Gym after a weeks break, however, i think i have twisted my back, therefore, i am not going to chance it. Some stretching today then a light swim tomorrow.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

Sunday 7th August

Soap • Proraso Green
Brush • Simpson Trafalgar T3
Razor • Timeless 0.68 SS Scalloped
Blade • Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Post • Prorasso Green ASL

Still feeling rough, and another positive Covid test.
Taking ten minutes to shave helped me feel a little better for a while.

Prep: Face wash with Simple face wash
Pre: None
Razor: Rockwell 6S (6)
Blade: Personna Platinum (1)
Brush: Alpha Outlaw
S Soap: PAA - Garden of Bali
Post: PAA AS - Garden of Bali + Bart's Balm - Unscented

I stuck with plate 6 since I tried it just as an experiment. I find it gives me superb close shaves and absolutely no irritation whatsoever so what more can I ask. Yes there is blade feel but at the same time I think this helps improve the technique as you definitely feel what you're doing.

My 5th shave with Garden of Bali thanks to @LeeMaz. At first I didn't know what to think of 'buttery' consistency as it made brush loading a bit difficult. I was finding midshave bits of the soap still on my face (I face lather) but now it's all good.

Excellent performance with a lovely dense and cushioning lather. A pleasant floral scent perfectly match by the aftershave. A lovely start of the week.
Wishing you all one of the same!

A lovely shave with the OSP and peppermint preshave from @BartsBalm any news on the preshave release? I saw @shaunwistow post yesterday for the first time in a while and thought I’d show him his little restored Omega is still going strong and currently the only Badger in the Den!
Enjoy the day guys.

The Kai blade was from last week and on its fourth shave. It felt somewhat dull this morning but still was capable of a reasonably close shave in the Blackbird. I think that I’ll try a new sharp blade with the Blackbird tomorrow.

I’m on a run with the Feather ASD2. Why not? It just shaves so well, without drama. The Undersea soap is definitely a firm favourite! Great lather and a lovely sea / citrus scent.

Blade: Feather (3)
Soap: A&E The Undersea
Brush: Simpson’s Milk Churn BB

That was about 30 shaves with my new Overlander alu, it's now established as my everyday razor, replacing the ATT alu. Time for a change, selecting bits of kit that haven't been used for a while. In the case of the razor, never. I'm so used to aluminium razors that it felt incredibly heavy and clumsy initially. I gave myself a weeper in no time, forcing me to slow down and treat it with a modicum of respect - resulting in a very close shave, potentially too close. I haven't needed to use alum for quite some time. Shit, the after shave stung and perhaps not the best choice. I'll see the blade through in the Yintai, I'm sure I'll get better at it. :) - saludos a todos - I.

Oh - one way, I suppose, of realising that you have too much shaving porn is that you can find a boxed razor that you have never used and can't clearly remember where it came from. I think I detect the hoofprints of the #theemporium. Thank you @Boycie83 if indeed it was you that sent me it. If not, I apologise to whoever did for forgetting.

Cyril Salter.MS. ED2band
Vitos Super Red
RR Hawk V3 A plate
Feather Pro ( 7/)
Alcolado Glacial A/S splash

After quite a number of days using guarded blades, there was a lot of blade feel on the first few strokes. Obviously more care need with this combo, especially asI picked up a bit of burn whilst officiating on Saturday. Quite pleased with the end result a pretty decent finish attained without mishap or post Shave problems.
