Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1129

Well the razor from Hungary arrived and I had to have it since it was manufactured by the Company name of my favorite blades (Wizamet) This baby has some blade feel but a smooth shaver. I knew after the first 2 strokes that this was going to be a good shave. Don't get me wrong, she will bite if not careful but maintain the angle and correct light pressure and a glass smooth shave is the reward. I didn't know when I got it that it's aluminum but so happy to have it in the den now. The Stirling Oro Valley is inspired by Tom Ford Ombre Leather. At nearly $100 an ounce for the EDP I think I will go with an alternative cologne but enjoy this soap for sure. Here are the scent description from the Stirling site:

Scent Description

A masculine blend of rich leather, warm spices, amber, and a touch of earthiness. With notes of cardamom, leather, jasmine sambac, amber, moss, and patchouli, this scent is a great addition to almost any collection. Inspired by Tom Ford's Ombre Leather

Very enjoyable and typical Stirling quality performance. Have a swell day !

After a four day hiatus, here’s my latest shave. The Fatboy had plenty to work with, and setting it to 6 meant it easily cleaned off my stubble. Mine is replated, pitted in places and not the best example I have seen BUT it shaves like a dream. Two passes and boom, all done. It’s my favourite vintage razor in my collection.

The brush, Voskhod blade and LEA products worked so well. As usual.

Stay safe and enjoy your shaves. Have a great weekend.

Ah - another P&B Trafalgar user. It's my favourite from them, and such a shame they can no longer produce it. I have a spare tub in deep storage. The splash is a perfect match.
