Dick's description is spot on
I get more or less 8 hours from it,
As Dick says, Allbeauty is the cheapest, it's where I bought mine some about four months ago.

The blade was on it's last legs, but I was able to get a good shave out of it.
Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
Brush: Stirling 2-band Synthetic 24mm
Soap: Barrister and Mann Latha Lavander/Oakmoss/Heliotrope
Bowl: Fine Shaving Bowl
Post: Fine American Blend aftershave
A great shave. First time used a B&M Latha soap. I read somewhere that the scent should be a classic barbershop. I don't think so, at least from my experience with barbershop scents. But it's a good scent imho, very mild but pleasant, not complex like the regular B&Ms. Had no idea what heliotrope is.
I would have preferred richer lather, maybe thicker but slickness and protection were good so it's fine and i can't object, it was maybe cause of the sample size.

After purchasing some Polsilvers, I thought I'd rummage around and take one for a drive while I wait for them to be delivered. After all, they are the TSR blade of the year! I think I prefer Nacet blades but these are really only marginally behind. 2 passes and touch ups and I'm smooth! Happy days.
