I haven’t used this iKon razor for ages, but with 7 days beard needed taking down, I’d forgotten how efficient this razor is. Not a razor to press on the face with.

A rare use of a Shave Cream today. The Shave was very pleasant and I am pleased that all is still going well, and a quality finish was attained.

Fine American Blend after shave
At the opposite end of the efficiency spectrum this afternoon. I’m normally more than content with two passes; but it was Streamline time today and it called for a leisurely, careful shave. So I went for an ATG pass to finish. As a result, my face feels like it may not need to see another razor for about seven weeks!
All extremely good.

Razor - Blackland Sabre L1
Blade - GEM PTFE S/S (7)
Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm - BartsBalm Tester B
A/S - Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green
The Little X1 Commodore is amongst the smallest Knots i use, but does it bloom well, oh yes, and perfect for use in the small up-cycled soap dishes i hold @BrianH 's Signature soaps. It held plenty for a 3 pass shave from a single loading, just adding droplets of water to the brush as i went.
A wonderful 3 passes for an easy, comfortable, BBS finish.

A fabulous shave today. The Atlantis is a far better brush than the Simpson M7 that I used yesterday. The Atlantis just doesn’t quiet manage the luxury feel of the M7, but the lather from the Signature Soaps Hibernia was far better than that with the M7, and, on balance, I prefer a great lather.

@donnie_arko,..... And crazier yet is that before Gillette made these in Manaus, Brasil is that PPI in St. Petersburg made some!!! Seen pictures, but never been able to get one to try. My contact in Brasil dried up.
