That wouldn't really work - you'd end up with a foamy sludge at first, and then it would just end up solidifying, at least partially.
Perhaps the hard soaps you have just require more water?
no it was just the ease of creamy slippery lather with a few strokes of the brush. i am aware of more water for tripple milled soaps as MWF is one of my favourite soaps.

pre : aleppo soap.
razor : english fat handle tech.
soap : palmolive cream tube (9 years old)
blade : dorko titan.
aftershave : 4711.

shave was great. i think all due to fantastic palmolive cream, have not used cream for ages as i have have stocked up on hard soaps believing they are better.
nope, on first stroke of razor i could feel the lubricicity ( made up name for slippery slideyness).
so i have loads of hard soaps and wonder if i can make the soaps into creams?
i'm thinking a Palmolive stick some water and a blender is not going to cut it.
open to suggetions.
very cool.just started using aleppo soap .nice stuff.

Just how bloody depressively boring is that? Having to go through 7 pages making sure I give you all my 'likes' and 'loves'. Do note, not an angry or sad in sight. Plus of course you all know I love you anyway.

Consequently I now have a thumb the size of a coconut with the accuracy of a darts player on acid.

So again a week free of my mindless drivel until this evening due to a busy schedule of decorating and being generally useless. And at that, this was yesterday's tales from the sink as shaving every other day at the moment to give my face a rest and because I'm fucking idle.

So this one is so themed, 'Idleness and the art of being pathetic'

A cracking bit of time standing over the sink shifting two days of growth and job done to perfection. Mongoose and Signature? I wouldn't expect anything lesser.

Halloween tomorrow. Another day in the office

A return to those very pretty and very talented ladies, Aldious. Time to drool over Yoshi the guitarist

Greetings,

Early morning shave,

An enjoyable shave to finish the month off wonderfully.

My month open comb razor focus has been a joy, especially my reacquaintance with the Yaqi DOC Mellon.

In the November focus I will alternate both the Parker 87R & 94R razors weekly for my face shaves pairing them up with the Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack blade, & will continue to use a variety of Cartridge razors for my head shaves.

Tonight is Halloween night ever since I was kid it has always been something I've looked forward to.

Parents uncles, aunties, grandparents, friends, neighbours will be having the usual mass visiting Trick-or-Treating presence from Wolverines, Michael Myers, Witches, Werewolf's, Father-In Laws, Mother-In Laws, Zombies, Vampires, Frankenstein's, Mummy's & Daddy's, Beetlejuice's, Batmans, Batwomen, Jokers, Freddy Krueger's, Chuckie's, Jason Voorhees knocking on the door queuing up for the boat load of goodies people have for them around the world to mark this 'spooky Halloween Trick-or Treating event.

Something That I always mention on Halloween is don't forget to keep your pets indoors and safe from harm while enjoying the spooky & soon to come bonfire-Guy Fawkes night (UK) festivities.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Thought I’d compare the PAL Adjustable Injecto Matic 1962 and the more simply named Schick Adjustable 1968. Used them over the last two days, same soap and brush.

It’s difficult to differentiate between the two in terms of performance, I’d call it a draw. The adjustable nature of these razors is a definite plus cf standard fixed head razors. I just wonder why it took Schick six years to embrace this particular concept. Although I believe the patent for their razor was applied for in 63.
The neblina continues to blot out the sun hereabouts, reminding me of my years living in Lima Peru during winter there.
Asi es la vida, que tenga un buen día compadres!

lovely shave to finish up open comb month. I've enjoyed every shave with this razor especially.

I do enjoy theme months like this or tech june to keep some things constant and evaluate others. I used the same three razors, tested eight brands of blades, finished up a bottle of avon tai winds, started a bottle of pinaud bay rum and got through most of a tube of proraso sandalwood cream.

I decanted the bay rum into glass and now the empty plastic bottle has a sharp unpleasant scent. like burnt plastic or something. I understand why I read in a lot of places that the scent improves by decanting and getting it out of there. definitely agree.

my favourite of the blades that I tried was the crystal. going to look for something similar. maybe German personnas are comparable? BIC and these dorco primes were also nice and sharp. The worst for me were the shark platinums.

Thur 31st October

Aleppo soap -Shave pre wash
RR 400 - SE Plissoft noir
Stirling Baker Street
Asylum Injector
NOS Schick Platinum- Holland ( 1 )
Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

Looking forward to this Shave after a bit of a faff changing the blade. However , the NOS blade did not work as well as a Proline which was a surprise, as the Dutch blade normally works so well for me in most Razors.

I created an enormous lather from the MWF this morning. It seems to be getting better with each use. Likewise, the Rockwell performed smoothly and resulted in a better, closer shave with the R5 baseplate installed. Good stuff.

Sixth shave from this blade and paired with a soap I have only used a couple of times before.

Rating: 4.5 / 5

Razor: Wilkinson Sword Sticky
Blade: Jewel Sheffield Special
Brush: Henkverhaar (TSR) badger brush Walnut Silvertip
Lather: Van der Hagen
Aftershave: Puig Brummel aftershave lotion
