Quorum Aftershave
I've only used this soap twice before and was a little nonplussed with it's performance regarding slickness. Today I loaded it with a wetter brush and was rewarded with a very slick, voluminous lather. The scent seemed stronger and more complex too.
Finished with PuIg Quorum Aftershave.

The brush was very kindly sent to me by James AKA @Rohleder
I've wanted to try another synthetic brush for a little while now. When I started traditional wet shaving the first brush I bought was a Razorock Plissoft. I was not impressed. It was very soft but next to no backbone and I didn't like the ‘springy' feel.
The Muhle fibre has been highly recommended and converted many natural hair devotees. Well I'm afraid it didn't float my boat. The feel of the hair was closer to a badger but the lack of backbone and the general behaviour of the knot didn't impress.
In its defence I did face lather, which I don't normally do. I also have trouble lathering B&M soaps. I'll try bowl lathering next time and wait to see if the clouds and seas part and have a eureka moment but I have my doubts.
Thanks to James for sending the brush. You're a Gent.

First use of the Pre de Provence which was kindly gifted to me by @Barry Giddens when I bought a Streamline a little time back. Very nice indeed. It will definitely be used regularly!
