Again...over do with lathering.... scoop out just peanut size of the soap and working it with the brush in the bowl produces a very satisfyingly nice lather. Lovely & lasting orangy/citrusy scent. Really nice brush for lathering.
Shave with FB paired with the blade felt good and surprisingly smooth. Set 9 for 1st pass and set 7 for the rest. Total 3 nice & comfortable multiple passes. Between BBS & DFS result. Rating 9/10. Have a great weekend everyone!

I have had some excellent Shaves over the last week, but this unlikely looking Razor always takes me by surprise. Smooth and Comfortable and without any real effort this combo just clears away any growth, leaving my skin smooth and refreshed.Perhaps does not have the looks and mystique of other Razors, but it really delivers superb Shaves.

 
Here's a tough one for you Mike: Which would you choose if you could only have either the Oren or the Hawk V3?

brush - Simpsons Case
soap - SV - Tundra Artica
post - witch hazel
a/s - Floid - mentally vigorous
balm - Floid
scent - Gotas Frescas.

Result? Crap day - nice shave. I'd forgotten how good SV soap is - I still can't for the life of me work out what it is supposed to smell of - read the scent profile but that doesn't help much. Have a good weekend - cheers - I.
 

Saponificio Varesino Tundra Artica is my favourite scented soap ( SV is my favourite soap base full stop).
I've spent years looking for a matching fragrance. Some months ago I finally found a match. It's Acqua Di Parma Ambra. It's not cheap but very close to Tundra Artica. I only have a decant at the moment but in the future I will buy a full bottle.
