I would imagine you will really enjoy your next shave.4 days so far without shaving because of a ear infection which i thought was an abscess in a tooth because of the pain and one side of my face being swollen the swelling as gone down but my face is still tender to the touch i will try to shave tomorrow night
Looking forward to it WayneI would imagine you will really enjoy your next shave.
Get well soon.
I really must give this a go. I have always assumed it was a little like Arko.....just much worse!
Many lament that Williams soap is no longer any good, but I take issue with that. The trick, at least for me, is to pour very hot water on the puck in a bowl & cover. I then shower and upon exit I drain the water and lather with a synthetic brush. The lather is luxuriant and does not dry out on my face. As well, I get top rate cushion & glide from it. Now if you're one of those Nancy boys looking for post-shave "face feel" then forget it. This soap was made starting in the 1840's for true frontiersman. Men who wore rawhide drawers and picked their teeth with musket flints.

Likewise with the Arko. I hope it is as good as you say. I have just ordered a pack of 3 (soaps.....in case anyone is confused)No, it is just plain scentless (to my nose) ol' time shave soap. Some say they detect a very, very faint rose scent, but I cannot. Regardless, I like Arko as well.
