I also get this on occasion with creams, Dave. What I have found is that, even though the lather looks good, it needs a little more water and elbow grease with the brush to "release" the slickness.Prep: Face wash

First use of the T&H cream beyond samples, felt draggy even though it was a fresh blade. Almost like the cream not slick enough, even though I seemed to have a decent lather. Will have to keep an eye on this. Nice to be back on the GSB, last shave with 7 O'Clock Green left my face sore for about 3 hours after. Burn kicked in and stayed for some time. I didn't even do an ATG pass. Results seem ok and face feels fine. Just can't pinpoint what the drag was all about
