SOTD : Saturday 17th July to Friday 23rd July 2021.

Saturday, 17 July

PreShave: Warm to hot water—most from the boiled kettle, some from the tap
Cream: GFT Eucris
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled T&H cream bowl
Razor: Merkur 39C
Blade Rapira Platinum Lux (1)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: Eucrus

My Saturday setup with a Rapira for this week’s blade. First time using the blade—made for a good shave, and I’ll see how it shapes up over the week. Nevertheless, it made for a smooth, three-pass shave. Have a good start to the weekend folks.

Pre = Fitjar Islands Charcoal Bar
Razor = Timeless Bronze
Blade = Gillette Minora Stainless ( 1 )
Brush = PAA 24mm Solar Flare Nexus Hybrid
Soap = A & E Socal Hipster with matching Splash
Balm = Australian Bodycare Tea Tree

Brilliant shave today
iv had this brush for a couple of months now and never got round to using it.
For anyone in to Synthetics you won’t go wrong with any brush from PAA,
For me they are the same price as Yaqi but far superior having said that i do like my Yaqi’s also.
This soap has summer all over it,
The smell of fruit is sheer class and the scent is a 10/10 for me i absolutely love this one.
The Balm i also love
Tea tree not everyone’s cup of tea but i love the scent & the freshness of tea tree.
Tomorrow will be my last shave everyday as i’m out of quarantine & back to work Monday :(
Never Mind Onwards & Upwards
Enjoy your day Lads

Brilliant Brushes mate they really are.
i ordered them directly from PAA and took the hit of postage. Honestly £20 a brush and they are all class.
What i like about them also is they are based on old classics.
There is two in particular i have i would probably change the knot to badger

Predictably, the Yaqi Dandelion brush came out today to coordinate with the Signature Soaps label. It, also, produces a great lather. The Rockwell razor did it’s usual efficient job. Two passes, and I walked out of the bathroom smelling of roses.
