Gotta admit that the 'German' Personna Platinum Chrome blades didn't miss a beat.. sharp, smooth, and delivered a faultless shave with a variety of razors.. but, with this, its 8th outing, I could feel that it was losing its edge..

A shave on a gloomy overcast morning with it trying to rain, good solid shave with only a weeper from removing the head of a tiny zit.

@Tony'schin, FWIW, I have a small plastic spatula that fits that bisected inner edge(?) perfectly so I merely 'ream' it and then smash that soap dead center and flat in the tub. Makes lathering the remnant much quicker and simpler.

Of course, if you're still lounging on that yacht and slurpin' on highballs then perhaps your adjutant can do it for you.

I do exactly the same when I get the ring of death in a tub to soft soap that are malleable doming it up in the centre of the tub for easy lathering with larger brushes.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Kenya Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11137 boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.1) with Cedarwood & Patchouli.
Blade: Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Baili BD 191.

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel./Cien Men X-Bolt ASL.

A later than normal posting...

The Baili BD 191... is on offer from many different shaving companies, at various prices 'Vikings Blade' & Razorock are just some that comes to mind.

Like the Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO & Kanzy K100 Chinese clone razors, the Baili BD 191 has a "closed head design" which gives extra protection from catching my ear lobes and under the nose when shaving something of which I like very much about all three razors.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Cien Men X-Bolt ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

A real cracker of a shave today, everything working as it should. The Genesis just works.
The ring of death has appeared in the bottom of the Vectis soap so it will stay in the rotation until it has finished. By the way another brilliant lather the signature soap never fails at its job either.

Having had an awfully unpleasant Shave with The Asylum last time out, I decided to bin the blade after 3 uses. A great start as the little boar coaxed a great working lather from the MWF. What a difference today, a very pleasant shave with a more than pleasing finish.
