@Tony'schin, FWIW, I have a small plastic spatula that fits that bisected inner edge(?) perfectly so I merely 'ream' it and then smash that soap dead center and flat in the tub. Makes lathering the remnant much quicker and simpler.
Of course, if you're still lounging on that yacht and slurpin' on highballs then perhaps your adjutant can do it for you.

Monday night shave…
Tonight’s shave comes courtesy of the kindness of @Tony'schin with the Yaqi Katana and the beautiful Dscosmetic shaving brush. Decided to plump for the Stirling to give myself the best chance with what is, without doubt, the most aggressive razor I now own. This is definitely a two pass razor for me. I haven’t felt so much blade on the face yet in my shaving journey and even though the razor felt super smooth in the hand, I had absolutely no grip issues at all with the nice long handle. Just the weight of the razor needed tonight for sure. The brush is beautiful and far softer than anything I own. Lathered up the Stirling very quickly and efficiently.
Beautifully smooth shave on just two passes with the Gillette 7pm Yellow. No against the grain needed.
The wife found the small yelp I made when the Proraso went on quite amusing . Many kind thanks Tony

Tadé Savon du Barbier & Tadé Pure Bristle
Gillette Trac-IU Twinjector & Schick (Japan) II Injector (8)
Varon Dandy Colonia (as Aftershave)
After a short break, giving the Aleppo soap-based Tadé another go once again met favourably. The lather is not especially dense, but dense enough when made with lots of loading and little water and extremely slick. Lovely with a razor like the Twinjector.

Tbh, I usually reach for my piggy version, but I am trying to use the Badger more because it's a shame just sitting there on my shelf.

Tuesday Morning 19/08/2025
I had a brilliant shave this morning with the Alpha outlaw evolution SS.
There is not much else I can say about this stunning razor that hasn’t already been said the shave is efficient and close and oh so smooth.
Steve from Alpha shaving really up to his game with the redesign of the outlaw which I never tried myself but I’m aware as many of us are that it had issues.
The Gillette Nacet blade is sharp and smooth it paired very well with this razor as I expected.
Finished off nicely with Genuine Ogallala bay rum & vanilla splash.
One pass WTG one pass ATG no touch ups perfect.
No nicks no worries.
