SOTD: Saturday 15 March - Friday 21 March 2025.

An early for me entry and my first entry for this new week of SOTD's. And not my first entry being made on the final day.

So this one arrives complete with the theme, 'Damnation and brushes'

After this past week of Liverpool results I have decided to put the Highlander LFC brush to one side as it is startlingly obvious those Montenegrin witches have been at it again. Damnation, commination, fulmination and just about any other form hex with 'tion' at the end. Taxation?

This evening a change of brush as at least Marine are doing themselves proud recently and moved outside of the relegation zone. Pity I haven't. According to Mrs Satanfriendly. Then again I live permanently in the lower divisions in her league table of people.

No photo of the CK Obsession as I wouldn't like to think @WiffWaff could get upset in his belief he has the world's supply. So I might be lying here.

A cracking shave from my SPOTTY razor of the year and supremely smooth from beginning to end.

Indeed, ours doesn't ... same shape bowl was used for the Black Label soap under a couple of guises, like the YYY Black Label logo and the simple Black Label logo. I do think the scent is the same profile, what with following on with the Black Label aftershave.

... but love the capital cities on the back of the box, including Cape Town.

I have both, although I haven't seen the Black Label one for a while. I will given them both a sniff...

A fun, Indian themed shave with some products picked up in Little India, Penang & a Pearl razor from BST on this forum.

I seem to like heavy razors & have wanted to try this one for a while. I sometimes think it looks a bit ugly(?) but then I change my mind. Either way the open comb shaved smoothly and efficiently and I enjoyed the feel & balance.

Blade was good but felt a bit thin / flimsy

Shave cream was bowl lathered and was consistency of shave foam from canisters. Performed well & I liked the medicinal smell (a mix of dettol and turmeric)

Pink post shave is invigorating and calming.
