Holy cow, that brush! Just googled it, the result showed it as a 'Black Friday Special' but the link just took me to Simpson's home page and the brush was nowhere to be found. Was it only available for a few days do you know?

Yes, they were a limited run. Beautiful looking brushes. I think they still have the liquid gold left which looks great:

Thanks. Looks nice, I prefer the blue though. Wish I'd spotted them at the time. What is the knot like?
Big. Stated as 26mm but it's definitely bigger than that. It's the same knot used in the other T series brushes known as the 'Sovereign Fibre'. It has the most backbone of any of my synthetics but still has that softness associated with synthetics. It splays easily enough.
