First time use with a Feather in the Gibbs and I was not left disappointed. I had plenty of time for the shave and the result was with a few touch ups BBS after two passes.

The Eudros soap is sublime. Thick and slick as they come with a lovely lingering rose scent. I don't agree with only using rose during the summer months. It cheers me up anyway.

First use of Eton College, wanted to try it since I first began using traditional shaving methods but somehow never managed it... Until now. It absolutely burnt my face off something terrible, very unpleasant! However the actual performance was to up TOBS usual standard (which is to say very good for the price.) The scent I cannot get my nose around, from the reviews I expected traditional Cologne, something akin to 4711 or Atkinsons Gold Medal but this is nothing like that... Far too modern and synthetic, it smells like my old nemesis Terre d'Hermes AKA D.R. Harris Windsor or T&H Apsley Don't know if that's just me or the way it really is? Had to use Opuntia again today as the sample sachets contain enough for 3 uses and it'll only end up getting spilt or thrown away if I don't use it quickly... Combined with the Eton College it smells like balsamic Pineapple, revolting!

A menthol night tonight. And a great shave.

Returning to Proraso products this evening and they performed flawlessly. A 3 pass shave with one or two pickups had me BBS.

Everything worked well together - the pre shave cream, the croap, the razor, the blade, Thayers, Floid and balm.

I'm getting ready to settle down for the night and my face feels great. I have that menthol tingle and the Floid scent is subtle but noticeable. I actually feel like stepping outside into the freezing air just to feel that cold menthol hit even more.

Another great shave that reminds me yet again why stepping over to wet shaving was the right thing to do.

I'm waiting on a RazoRock Hawk and new SE blades (Schick Prolines) arriving and cant wait to try these out. If this razor shaves as good as my Rockwell razor and 7 o'clock blades then I'm onto a winner.

A much more like it Shave, smooth comfortable and close all round, must have been the blade that was off yesterday.Used Arko for the first time, lathered very easily but I thought that it dried up too quickly , so the jury is out.

I got mine from a Forum Member. They were stocked be E-Barbershop in USA, who did not ship to UK and I believe they have stopped trading. Maybe see if someone on the forum has one going. Originals come up from time to time, last one went for around Â£140.
