my 2nd shave with the GC .76, and what a beauty it was.. resistance is futile..

Shaving.. to be enjoyed, not endured.

Fourth shave with this blade and still performing brilliantly. Approximately two days since my last shave and thoroughly enjoyable. I shall have to use these 1977 dated blades more often.

Finished my Zingari Recovery unscented splash. Good at hydrating but no cooling properties. No smell to clash with my aftershave of choice but means I feel I need a separate scented aftershave!

Rating: 5 / 5

From the sublime to the ridiculous? Certainly with my history with boar brushes but not at all. Not today. Good lather for both passes and a great two pass shave to start the day.

Tue 15th April

Aleppo soap- Shave pre wash
Alpha Classic G4 28mm
Ach Brito Mogno
ATT SE1
Kai Captain Titan Mild Pink ( 5 )
Tuff Red A/S Lotion Reverted

Used one of my original AC/SE Razors today, and it was a real treat. I remembered that these oldies worked best by using the weight of the Razor to do the work with little pressure. The Kai Pink was excellent and I had no problems getting a super close all round finish, and that included work on the upper lip - a real face stroker.

Razorock BBS 'A' with Astra Stainless steel.
Simpson T3 brush.
ESC Bay Rum shave cream.
Pinaud Bay Rum splash.
Prep cream.

Well, this razor certainly lives up to its name.
I'm really impressed by this one.
It would certainly give the GOAT a run for the money. Subtle differences between the BBS 'A' and the GOAT razors are that of blade feel and blade clamping. The BBS 'A' has very little blade feel and clamps the blade well due to its design. It's a hair less in efficiency than the GOAT but makes up for it in smoothness. A little extra buffing and wow! Love it.
Happy Shaving
