I face lathered with the Palmolive stick and started shaving but then the razor refused to shave when I was doing my moustache area. I realised that it had become clogged thick with soap and had to stop and remove the blade and clear it out before continuing. This has never happened before and certainly not with this razor given the guard design. I'm assuming that I hadn't used enough water to lather up the soap to turn it from hard soap to shaving lather. I've always thought that I have underused water when I'm making a lather. More learning curve I fear...

Shave went great after that but this blade has gone too far now. #15 shaves is probably 2 shaves too far for it in hindsight. Face is super smooth though and despite all that not a scratch or any rawness at all. A very odd shave...

i have to say for the many years iv travelled it really is a lot easier bringing sticks & samples.
This brush is fast becoming a firm favourite for travelling.
its cheap it’s easy to come by if i lose it and it performs very well

Thanks a lot Sandpiper - had a great birthday - 14 came to mine - had a lock-in 'till 3 am - got my tenor sax out - we had all had a boogie etc.

Viv, the landlady phoned me up Sunday afternoon and said we can all come for free next time - said we'd all spent over £5000 in seven hours - we were only taking it easy - we've all got our sea-legs - two minibuses home then all-night Blackjack and Poker card-school at mine - lovely - had a right laugh !

Good job I had 100 German lagers at home and 6 litres of Stolichnaya vodka - I'm Russian - so I'm allowed haha !

Good job I didn't come in with my Rugby League mates - we'd have drunk the pub dry lol !

Oh - the cheapie Indian gold razor - Mind the Gap - Haha !
