Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Plunkett's Vita E Pure with Rosehip Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Davidoff Cool Water
Deodorant:- Davidoff Cool Water

Prep: Warm shower:/ Nivea Men DEEP CLEAN Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Originals Shave Cream.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D3)
Razor: Mühle R41. (2013)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse. / Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's / Alum Rub. / Cold Water Rinse. / Nivea Refreshing Toner. / Blue Stratos Original Blue ASL. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave,

New shave set up to start the month off.

For my October focus I'll be using various open comb razors for my face shaves paring them together with a variety of DE blades that I haven't had in my blade rotation for some time, and will be using the Gillette Guard cartridge razor for my head/dome shaves.

Starting with the assertive Mühle R41 & Feather Hi Stainless duo mowing through my face stubble with smooth efficiency.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

The Stainless Hawk always delivers a very nice shave, it is a bit unwieldy when you first hold it, feeling a bit top heavy and unbalanced but quickly becomes comfortable
I am really enjoying these really soft tipped Boti knots, some may find them floppy but just reset them a bit lower and they begin to shine.

I am really liking the Monthly threads. I think that it gives occasional posters like me a great opportunity to see what kit you, more professional guys, are using.

So, this morning I had accumulated a 4+ days growth of beard. Proper rough it was, missus would not come near me!!

Early morning hot shower. Lots of Aleppo soap and Palmolive shower gel.
A gorgeous thick bowl lather whipped up with Palmolive Shave Cream and Yaqi synthetic brush.

I then face lathered into my beard and attacked the growth with a trusty Edwin Jagger 89 and a Gillette 7 o clock stainless blade.

One pass really was all that was needed.

However, just for the pleasure of it, I repeated the exercise ATG. Resulting in an extremely close and comfortable shave.

I have to say that I felt good with myself. Clean and shiny. Ready to face the day.

I love days like this when everything comes together and works out fine. No aggravation, no upsets. Make you feel good to be alive.
