Today's shave was a 10/10 as I used dial 1 getting basically a full BBS shave. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 3 topside/total. I do flip the blade over around 16 and count the flipped side amount with also a total overall.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved after shower so I did not use anything on face other than water from shower however, I kept the blade wet as needed. I did need to do like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end, only the final clean well not really this way as I did have to go do 2 parts I missed after the shower doing the last bit of cleanup of shaver & blade after the first cleanup.

Up today was the cheapest razor from Feather (£12.90 inc delivery deal), this was after yesterdays most expensive Feather razor (approx. £240), what is the difference in the shave result?
None - Nada - Zilch.
BBS and very comfortable from 3 passes.
I am still happy i own both, i do like a Feather DE razor.

Of course it’s ok to load Cella from the tub and go straight to face lathering. It’s the way I do it and it works well. Enjoy!

I would just use the screw on cap end for whipping up the lather seeing how tall the screw on cap is, almost that of a standard lower style bowl. Using the screw on cap would also force me to clean my shaving bowl out fully before putting the screw on cap back on so I do not accidentally lock the cap on when the Cella Tallow dries out in the screw on part.

Is this the cheap Feather model that switches from blade setting one to blade setting 2? NEVER MIND, I found the model I was thinking of is $40 USA.

The other model you used yesterday is $165 USA without the Stand as the AS D2 and the Jatai at $269 USA appear to both be the exact same shaver. These are prices off Amazon before tax for the Most Expensive Feather shavers.

Indeed, it’s a great soap made better with tallow. The only thing that lets it down is the amount you get for your money. You get almost double the amount of soap from a soap from Signature Scent soap for a lot less money. Rant over ha!

All the soaps of his I have are top drawer, I imagine the ingredients he uses would be more costly than others, hence the price. A nice touch is he writes hand written notes to customers with each order, he mentioned he’d included some samples which weren’t there. I didn’t have the heart to mention it ha!

indeed.. I have the Norse Spice soap.. I did receive many samples with mine, so that must have been an oversight..
