Cold wet flannel to my face & head.

Lather: Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap Bar.

A new shave set up to start the weekend....I really like the Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap bar creates a nice creamy slick protective lather in a short space of time. The residual slickness is excellent leaving a superb post-shave making my mature skin feel soft & moisturized after the shave.
Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.
My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

What a beautiful shave with the soap & balm from Kos Greece, the little razor effortlessly mowed down two days old beard with one pass and a touch-up required around mouth, face feels great after balm application. Sat on the patio in the shade with a slight wooly head after sipping Planetary XO dark rum last night ( zero regrets! ) now drinking a drink from Paraguay called tereré a cold yeba maté drink with ice cold orange squash added to the infusion, refreshing and full of antioxidants!

Saturday 30th May...
Having been kindly PIFed a shavette, I have started learning how to shave with one. Going to take this very slowly over a long period so today was just right hand / right cheek which will be the same for a while. It's very different than holding a DE and the feel on the face is different too without a top cap or guard and even just experiencing the sensation of the growth being cut.
Thankfully, no issues to report on day one. I have found out the the arm of my glasses gets in the way and slickness helps a lot hence the soap. There was a Nacet #2 in the Tech and a Shark #1 half blade in the shavette.

Relaxed, comfortable removal of three days growth. Out this evening for a meal with a few other members of our local parent/carer forum, so wanted to be presentable. Going to Hotel Indigo in Durham City, one of Marco Pierre White’s restaurants (although I doubt he will be in attendance!) Should be good and am feeling refreshed and ready.

Thanks to @Pontormo for the Santa Maria cream. It has to be one of my favourites, it gives the same slickness as a good triple milled puck which is rare for me with a lot of creams.

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did two passes with the Schick Krona razor with a Astra SP Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.
