Greetings,

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend...It's been a while since I last added the Wickham soap sample to my rotation. I have another unused sample of the same soap, what is astoundingly good about some shaving soaps that I've sampled is the shaving value you get from them. The Wickham 1912 classic vegetal 24 soap is absolutely brilliant considering the small amount I use it provide me with a wonderful protective lather for the shave with a pleasant scent throughout leaving a excellent post shave feel.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. I find the Gillette King C 3Pc is a great razor for head/dome shaves.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton-Lloyd Essentials No10 Bergamot, Neroli & Musk EdP to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe 'n' warm and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

A quick tidy up with the Wilky was all that was required this morning.
Enjoy your day all.

Nanny’s Silly Soap ‘Moroccan Sands’
Shavemac TSR LE 2015

Fine Fresh Vetiver AS

Lovely simple shave no fuss, haven’t used the Vetiver in an age felt very fresh when I went into the front garden to remove wind blown debris as it’s gusting up to 40 mph from the direction of Iceland and is distinctly icy! Have a becalmed day.

Same setup as yesterday. I'm really happy with STF++ knot, it has backbone but splays easily. Works the lather in no time. Wickham is the still one of the best soaps for me and every den should have one. Karve paired with Schick DE blade is so smooth that most of the time you can't tell if the blade is there. Zero burn from the splash to confirm the quality of the shave.

Aleppo soap - Shave pre wash
Cyril Salter - MS Ed2band
Cyril Salter Solid soap
Alpha Spirit
Feather Pro ( 3 )
Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion

A very pleasant Shave today as I am now resisting the urge to Shave too quickly. Also I made sure that I got a good lather which helped the Shave go well, and the overall finish was excellent.

Today's shave at 10:25 am.

Today's shave during the shower was a 10/10
using dial 2 with 0 cuts. I got a true BBS shave, quite rare for me to achieve. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 8 top/total shaves.

I used as always unless on a plane or similar deal where I can't deal with own luggage using my Micro Touch One pre Rick Harris endorsed, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable 1960's era unless it breaks or starts failing for daily use, then I use my unknown year backup of Gillette Adjustable 1960's era where the current one if still usable becomes the backup. Trac

I did not use Arko in a Harvey & Cavendish tin I have with the cheap Chinese Travel Bush with unbleached Boar hairs. So no hairs lost from the shaving brush since I did not use it. I am still thinking Domestic Boar like a Potbelly Pig for the Boar hair.

Due to shower shave I did not use the Arko soap or any soap just water but if I shaved normal, I would go Arko on the lid of the Harvey & Cavendish tin again to build up a soap and I used less soap than I do when trying to get the soap from the stick to lather up and try to grab the lather. This method on the cap also made a better, still thin, but soapy lather then when using just the stick and face. I did rinse off the lid and dry inside off when done so I do not have a sticky or lid that could leak out some soap or suction/stick the lid on that water could do as well. This is currently my shave method outside of shaving during the shower for now until I change tins to a bigger tin or use something else like a secondary bowl for normal use.

Today's shave before the shower was a 10/10, best with my shave soap so far using dial 2 with 0 cuts. I got a true BBS shave, quite rare for me to achieve but is getting more common due to using the Arko shave soap. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 8 top/total shaves.

I also had the lather perfect for the tin's lid due to where I did not need to add more Arko soap just work up a second round for face and chin when I got to them as Arko has a habit of soaking into the skin somedays or getting transparent, that thin really easy.
