Yes it's me. After some 3 months discovering what a hiatus is, I have decided to rediscover what forums are. And I'm still not bloody sure. Something to do with scribbling some twaddle about shaving I think, so I'll give it a go.

Apparently I am duty bound by some folk belonging to an obscure organisation, 'The board of theming things', to give my shave a theme. Mmmmmmmmmm? Will, 'The return of ?', do?

'Yes that'll do. Now get the fuck on with it will you?'

Some day or other

1000021309.jpg

A razor? - Feather AS-D2
A blade? - Feather
A brush? - Cadman 24mm Tuxedo
A soap? - Penhaligons Bayolea
A moisturiser? - Danielle Laroche
A scent? - Penhaligons Endymion

And the latest fad in shaving involves using shaving stuff. So I did. And what a bloody great success. I ended up shaved. One of those close and as smooth as a dolphins bottom. Or something like that. It wasn't 'as smooth as my bottom', because my arse is as rough as fuck.

And all finished with my latest beauty addition (not my wife) in the Endymion. A cracking scent and a gift of a price at their York outlet. Smelling effing divine.

Well, back again. To be honest I have to be thankful to a certain chap who makes damn fine Soaps on here, and who sent some very nice emails, basically saying, 'get your fucking arse back on TSR'. So I followed his simple instructions and here I am.

I decided some months back to take some time away from forums, etc. Being as the only forum I write on is this place, an easy exercise. Add to that life went rather chaotic and messy.

And I bet all the time you were thinking, 'Thank God for that. He's grown a beard and sodded off'. Let me assure you, I never did, I bloody detest beards. I did do the sodding off part though. Although I still love my missus despite her facial hair. She just depises me, beard or no beard. It's her duty.

And do I still love the Japanese girly band thing? Of course I do. Life would be boring without them. So take some of this, you wishful thinking people.

72hr growth so I was originally going to use an aggressive/efficient razor but I wanted to try out my new Mellon Head. It was mild as expected but did an excellent job over 3 passes - so smooth, so easy, almost on autopilot. I hadn't tried this blade before and it coped well with the stubble but sharpness dropped off on the final pass. Wasteful but this is a single use and replace for me. The Mellon head will probably prove excellent for daily use and I'll try it again with a Bic chrome platinum as I think that'll be a winning combo.
