iv had this soap sind 2020 and it’s still going strong
I’m fairly sure there’s no loss of scent but if there is it’s ever so slightly.
Three passes of excellence, why o why did A&E muck around with their bases
For me the Kaisen 2 has been the best base they had which is this one
in fact this is the original Kaisen base and it’s superb.

Brush; Oumo, Exceed (1) Classic handle in faux Ivory resin and Ironwood timber with an M9 23mm Manchurian Finest 2 Band Badger knot.
Soap; Yardley, Vintage Green label.

Shave; Nice morning shave, great lather from a Vintage soap and a knot I’m really starting to enjoy. Nice close and efficient shave from the CX, 2 pass n touch up BBS. Lovely aftershave/moisturiser followed by the Attar, superb!!

Face & head Lather.
Lather: Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin Shaving Soap.
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum.(D1)
Razor: King C Gillette.
Razor: Wilkinson sword extreme 3 Pivoting Head Cartridge Razor. (Head/Dome) (D2)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Sensitive Aftershave Gel./Brut Oceans ASL.

Early morning face & head shave,

I have said this in many of my posts that the Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin soap is an incredible shaving soap. Like all of the Haslinger soaps I've tried it doesn't get top marks for it's scent, but My skin type really likes shaving soaps with lanolin added to the ingredients, the post shave feeling from it is absolutely superb.

I have a another round ready to use once this one is done.

An enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Brut Oceans ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Tuesday 7th July ...

I never tire of the smell of Speick. It's been such a long time since I used it. Fabulous.

Today's blade in the shavette was an RK Pro Edge #1 which was much sharper for cutting through the growth. Covered all areas of the face and touched up with the DE razor on the lower lip and nostrils. A nice clean shave with a rather eclectic group of objects. Only a small mark on the moustache to show for it. Very pleased.

Tuesday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Tabac Shave Soap
Olivewood Silvertip Badger
Red and Black Old Type by Tom White
PolSilver Super Iridium Blade
CWR
Tabac Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Olivewood Silvertip Badger. I did one quick pass and touch-ups with the Red and Black Old Type razor by Tom White with a PolSilver Super Iridium Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Tabac After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.
