Saturday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Nivea Shave Cream
Jayaruh #217 Synthetic
AliExpress Classic Adjustable DE
Gillette Silver Blue
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Nivea Shave Balm

The Nivea Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #217 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AliExpress Classic Adjustable razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Nivea Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Pre shave: Hot shower and Neutrogena glycerin soap bar.
Razor: Gillette 195 Adjustable (7).
Blade: Feather (4).
Brush: Yaqi sigrada familia 24mm synthetic.
Soap: Stirling Barbershop.
Post shave: Stirling Barbershop aftershave balm.

An effortlessly enjoyable 3 pass shave, today.

The dial down test from last time seemed to have done the job at the time, but the stubble returned far soone than usual, , so I reverted back to sticking to setting 7 for all 3 passes and just made sure to take my time and be completely focused on technique and not go overboard on those problem spots.

The Glycerin soap and Stirling barbershop combo made for an effortless glide and loads of protection on all 3 passes without any post shave issues.

Couldn't have asked for better, really.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

I’ve just realised I’ve accidentally started Fat Feb a bit early but what the heck I’m sticking with the Lea. Such a good soap and I hear the non tallow version is also decent as well.

Soap: Lea Classic (tallow)
Brush: Runeman Badger/Boar Mix
Razor: Rockwell 6S
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Super Platinum
Post Shave: TN Dickinson Witch Hazel, Floris No89 EDT and Aftershave Balm
