The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #217 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AliExpress Classic Adjustable razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Nivea Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

After a patchy Shave yesterday, I decided a clean up was needed. Today I had an extremely smooth Shave with the Spirit,and a good close finish too.

Wednesday Night Shave ...

Carrying on working in my new boar brushes and tonight was the Semogue's turn. It was much better lathering up this evening and really worked the TFS well. The Med Prep is #4 but I have used it to clear the back of my neck too so maybe #5 really. It was so smooth tonight in the Rockwell on plate 3 - a very good combination indeed. These are very good blades indeed.

Simple ingredients combining to make a fabulous, clean shave.

Soap - Arko Stick
Brush - Zenith 2006
Razor - Gillette Rocket

It'd been a few days since I last had a shave with a DE and today's one was glorious way to unwind. Sometimes it doesn't take much for a good lather, a well used Zenith boar and a dwindling stick of Arko were the stars of today's shave. The Zenith is a bit of a shedder, and a bit floppy but it's a lot of fun to use in the shave.

I've been a bit of busy this month with some family stuff and work, I'm looking forward to having a bit more time with my shaves again.

Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Skincare Lemon & Bergamot Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Monsavon au lait shaving soap.
Blade: Treet Classic.(D2)
Razor: Parker 92R.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care + Witch Hazel./Brut Oceans ASL./ Aloe Vera Sensitive Aftershave Gel.

Early morning Shave,

The Monsavon Au Lait as always provided me with a wonderful protective slick lather for the shave leaving an excellent post shave feel.

Another close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Sensitive Aftershave Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

The Genesis just works for me, always giving a brilliant result with no drama whatsoever. Today fitted with a new modified GEM there was no harshness at all from the new edge, just smooth crisp cutting. The Tabac is running out now, i may get a few more shaves from it and this TAJ boar is well broken in feeling so soft on the skin now.
