SOTD: December 2025.

I love that Parker has Cloned the adjustable injector razors in a style similar to the two models the Personna one from mid 1950's to 1980 and the 1970's model Gillette made, the adjustable injector razors that had this winter car window scrapper look to them.
It's also very similar, if almost identical in style to the 1960's Pal injector adjustable, which also has five settings.

I forgot Gem made modern injector style shavers after the company kind of slowed way down if not stopped making the single edge with proprietary blade, after the patent from Gillette on version 2 of double edge blade shape from 1922 finally ran out after WWII after the renewal and the double edge/shaver.

Tabac Tuesday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Tabac Shave Soap
Jayaruh #4 2-band Badger
Henson Clone Safety Razor
Gillette Silver Blue
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Tabac After Shave

The Tabac Shave Soap was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #4 Two-band Badger Brush. Two Passes and touch ups with the Henson Clone Safety Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DispsoseABLE
A.S.-Clubman Special Reserve

Man, this Imperial really clears up my face and neck for the shave(course the latter is also with Imperial). I really need to go easier than normal on my chin(which I like to call "South Porcupine"), as I once again ended up with some redness. No harm, though. Fine job elsewhere. 2 passes. Nice close from the Clubman A.S., though I should have doused my neck a little more with it. Pretty Outstanding.

Mike, thank you for your friendly reaction to my shave description. I have some other goofy names for shave areas-"South Porcupine" is just one of them. Perhaps a way to better enjoy my shaves

How times change. Back in my days as an early influencer I would shave with double edge blade and razor, soap in bowl, lather with brush then a leisurely three or four pass shave, the whole operation lasting 15-20 minutes. Today? A quick application of some gel plus a whiz with a cartridge razor finished under 5 minutes. I do still have my leisurely traditional shaves but I am now happy to revert to the way perhaps most people shave during their busy lives.

i only have enough of this cream for one more shave & it’s done, Hopefully there’s enough for one more.
it really is a very underrated cream and to think it’s on our doorstep in the uk makes it even better.
The Brush is my number 1 favourite, i have a few favourites but this is the best in terms of looks but some of the knots iv had from @gile are better plus this one is starting to shed one possibly 2 hairs each shave so not that bad.
The lord blade i hadn’t tried in a while in fact it’s been that long i can’t remember if i liked it or not but this shave was a 10/10 so yes definitely a nice surprise

Today's shave was a 9/10 as I used dial 2 getting 1 cut reopened on moustache while achieving a full BBS shave. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 5topside/total. I do flip the blade over around 16 and count the flipped side amount with also a total overall.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved before the shower but I only used water on the blade/head of shaver to help with feel, so I did not cut myself however I still kept the blade/head of shaver wet as needed. I did not do a partial clean between shaves but did just the final full clean at the end including scraping the corners for the green crap on the inside of butterfly mechanism and adding vegetable oil to all the parts that move in the blade head area.
Today's shave was a 9/10 as I used dial 2 going to 3 for a few parts like moustache and beard getting an odd mini skin cut on chin with no blood while achieving a full BBS shave. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 6 topside/total. I do flip the blade over around 16 and count the flipped side amount with also a total overall.

The adding of vegetable oil to all the parts that move in the blade head area and to the entire blade was a good move. I was just going to do the joints/areas that move but this coated the entire base the blade sits on to get the part that adjusts the blade, so I had to coat the entire blade evenly.

I have the same issue on my chin with the hair being hard to shave. My hair is why I got when I needed a new shaver an adjustable double edge shaver with later after finding I like this shaver model a backup for this exact reason where if I need to go up but still need to keep other parts less aggressive, I can. See my shave for today on what type of adjustable I use everyday.
