Genuinely never thought i would like this razor but there you go were a fickle bunch
If i ever had to pick my top 5 soaps this would be one on them.
So underrated by the wet shaving world and myself but it’s just recently i’m started to judge soaps more on performance.
The star of the show tonight was the brush.
Part of Robb Moffat’s personal collection and made for a pasture pharmacy meet up.
I don’t know if mine is lucky or unlucky with the limited number 13

Spot on, Pal. As you say, great for travel and work a treat. Took me many years to zero in on a travel set-up that would consistently give me a shave close to my home bathroom. I reckon I’ve gone from 40% to 85% over the journey, which I’m pretty happy with.

Its been a long time since i used any of my OSP collection, its always a top performer, i do hope James finds the time to make a comeback, especially before i actually run out.
A very nice shave with some great bits of kit.
Enjoy your day all.

Head and Face Shave

CeraVe Cleanser
Blackland Vector
Schick Proline P30
Edwin Jagger STF
Kent Tallow
P&G Old Spice AS
Nivea Replenishing Post Shave Balm

I decided to start trying to improve my head shaving technique as I want to simplify my routine by using one razor for head and face. I’ve been using the Leaf Shave Razor for a number of years and it is a superb head shaver and always get BBS finishes but it’s not great on the face as I have to use another razor to touch up under the nostril area. Overall a decent shave, not BBS but not too far off, the blade was on its 9th use so not at its sharpest. I’ll continue using the Vector with a fresh blade for a couple of weeks to improve further.

Wednesday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
WSP Formula T Pumpkin Pie Shave Soap
Jayaruh #1 Badger
GEM Damaskeene OC
Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade
Aqua Velva After Shave

The WSP Formula T Pumpkin Pie Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #1 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene OC Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
