We close on our new home today. I am doing my first shave there today.
The Palmolive Menthol Shave Cream here face-lathered well with Jayaruh #425 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick C Repeater razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Brush - Omega 11137
Razor - Gillette Slim Twist (1960’s) - (the Beatles razor for any young folk!)
Blade - Rapira Stainless (4)
Balm - Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave - Davidoff Cool Water
Close, no fuss shave tonight. I have to be more careful with these elderly Gillette’s than other razors I have, maybe I don’t have the angle quite right. End result was satisfactory though, and the TFS soap was as outstanding as always! And I had a fine time remembering all the words to “A hard day’s night”!

Razor: Gillette Rocket Flare Tip (made in England)
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless (2)
Brush: Yaqi Ocean
Soap: Stirling Glacial Obsidian
Bowl: The olde copper
Post-shave: Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite after shaving tonic & Stirling Glacial Obsidian post-shave balm
Menthol Monday madness! A cooling down treat before bedtime.
This was my first time pairing a Feather blade with the Flare Tip Rocket and it was a winning combination. Comparable to when I’ve paired a Feather with, for example, my DE89; feels like it shifts up a gear.
The mix of anise and menthol in the Glacial Obsidian is another winning combination. Refreshingly cool throughout the shave and getting that sweet anise, which always puts me in the mood for aniseed balls, Ouzo or Sambuca. Immediately after rinsing the residue of the soap off, I splashed some Fine Snake Bite on. I’ve definitely acclimatised to it a bit since the early days but it’s still a heightened cooling experience. Once that had started to minimise, some Glacial Obsidian post-shave balm round this shave off nicely.

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Vie-Long Shave Stick.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum.(D1)
Razor: Baili BD 177 Rose Gold TTO.

Wow!.. what an incredibly comfortable close efficient combined face & head shave.!!! Both my face & head are error-free BBS dolphin smooth. The Dorco Prime Platinum pairs with the razor superbly. This is the best combined face & head shave I've had with a DE razor in quite some time.
Finishing to the shave off with a generous splash of P&G Old Spice Captain ASL.
My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Had another shave planned for today but woke up tired and decided to postpone it until later in the week as I wanted to savour it.
The Rockwell 2C on plate 3 was paired with a Gillette Silver Blue #1. This is, as I have just found out, is a superb pairing for me. Cyril Salter and a Semogue 2000 made up the rest of the line up in what turned out to be an extremely close finish. Fabulous shave.
