I've only ever used 2 soaps, Arko (came free with some blades) which I couldn't get to lather and Mitchells Wool Fat which lathers well but find it dries my skin out a bit. It's not a question of what I prefer, it's all about the best scents. I'm getting much better scents with artisan soaps that use essential oils, and while that's the case I don't see more than one or two creams entering my den. I'm only interested in top tier artisans so I buy what they produce, and that's generally soaps.

Creams on the other hand I've not had a bad one yet.
Does anyone else find a difference in lather performance between soaps and creams?
I always thought she only made soaps????NSS being my favourite so far.
Soaps seem to be the choice for most then.
I'll have a look in the soaps section and see if I can find something that suits me better than MWF.
Will definitely keep the creams I've used also, have found then excellent. NSS being my favourite so far.
