Is this because ebay then get a repeat listing fee when the seller has to relist the item with a more realistic price, or because they don't get involved regarding price since they are essentially only a "host" for the sale?
Sounds about right, but then he gets those blanks for free I guess? If you need to buy blanks at retail wood prices (rather than buying wood by the tree) and need to supply the bowls with an adequate waterproof finish (which the depicted bowl doesn't apparently have), I would guess that cost would be in the Eur 10,- range.Arrowhead said:There's an old fella who calls in at our workshop for woodturning blanks now and then - I'll ask him how much he'd want for a bowl of this type next time he shows up.
