...the England front row can count themselves very lucky they were getting really screw in the scrum Marler was popping up the ref should have shown the two prop yellow cards.
Totally agree. I cannot recall the last time I saw a straight put in to a scrum.Sorry Jamie - one of the ITV commentators was a scrum specialist and he seemed to think it was 50:50. I think any good international side nowadays will push the Laws to the limit in the scrum as the traditional methods of gaining the upper hand have been removed since the current procedure was introduced (the "hit" has been elimated, which was overdue, IMO). If youwant to find fault, you might consider that every team puts the ball into the scrum at an angle such that the hooker often has no need to 'hook' the ball.
Well done to England. Now go on and win the whole shooting match, please.
Well I am part English after all. Not sure which part, probably my arse as a whole load of shite comes out of it. Only kidding, t'was good to see England win after such a disastrous World Cup and back to back victories for Scotland too. Much, much more to be done as far as both teams' performances are concerned but there is strong encouragement on both sides. New Scotland Rugby song, "We're not Italy any more, we're not Italy any more!"Very generous of you, Graeme, and you must be pleased with Scotland's performance. They're playing with confidence and are supporting one another as opposed to playing as individuals.
I'm deeply offended by the constant need to use the "N" word just to make a point, so could we please return to the Rugby.
No I am not black, but most of my friends and neighbors were in my formative years, I cannot abide the word, never could never will.
