Simpson fibre brushes, any good for facelathering?

Hi mates!

First of all, happy new year to everyone!

I start this thread to ask you mates about Simpson sovereign fibre brushes... I tried some synthetic brushes in the past from other brands, but i found them mostly way too springy and hard to splay for facelathering.... I read that this happens to some Simpson fibre brushes (Trafalgar and Chubby) but I wonder if there are some of the other models more facelathering friendly, like M7 or Berkeley 46 which I think could splay better because of their length/diameter knot ratio...

Have you tried them? Any good for this purpose?

Thanks and regards!

I had a T2 that was set too low for my tastes, which I found to inhibited splay.
I’ve been curious about the T3, but the knot seems too large for me.
Synthetics are also not really my thing. I keep a couple around for very quick shaves and travelling.
interested to hear any intel on Simpsons Platinum Fibre though.

I have a few of the Sovereign Knots i. the T3’s
They are great knots with wonderful backbone
however like Mr. Blonde i’m not really a synthetic type of guy.
i went off them a while back
But in answer to your question the sovereign will face larger no problem
