Picked up the new lathe today, think it was clean for all of 5 minutes before starting to turn this bowl might be a shaving bowl not sure yet.

Got round to coating this handle, 2 coats on 1 to go then sand and polish it up, banded purple heart

Turned these over the May day weekend
Elm burr with a 26mm plisson knot just for a test fitment, yet to apply the final coating.

and this white and blue resin handle, the white i used the opaque resin which has gave it a slight off white colour and I added metal into the blue which was difficult to capture with the camera on the phone.

Elm burr handle No.2, this piece has some voids in it that I plan to fill with a bit of colour just can't decide what colour to go with yet.

This is a finished yew handle brush fitted with a 26mm boar knot away to its new owner featuring a Black Country Flag pin mounted in the base.
