I have never worn hats as they just never seemed to suit me. However I have bought a panama “style†hat a couple of times on holiday recently as I found the blazing sun was giving me headaches. Now getting used to it and almost quite like one on holiday. Don't think I would wear one swanning around northwest England though.

I plan on getting one for the summer. Unfortunately there don't seem to be official hat grades for Ecuadorian Panama hats, so it's very difficult to know what quality you'll get when ordering online. Any suggestions on where to shop for one?
Very interesting indeed, thank you for posting. P.Here you have what seems to be an interesting article on Panama hats.

Borsalino is the second one.I have a Christy, another well known brand, and a Goodwood races version.
Despite my phone saying it was only 13 degrees. My balding noggin got burnt today as I relaxed on the beach eating my ice cream. Hats maybe out of fashion, but they are essential for Celtic Britons like myself.
