Just get out the shower and soak your brush in cold water. Then splash it on your face, that is all I do. The whole towel thing has never done anything to me.

Well, we do (I can only speak for France), but not in everything.
Soaps (for men) are mainly lemony (lemon/orange) or woody scent based, in food essentially in ice cream or taboulé (tabbuleh, what is called 'couscous' in the fresh salads aisle in British supermarkets; couscous is close though), and in drinks it is mostly found in some teas/infusions or syrup (diabolo menthe: mint syrup+sparkling water), but definitely not at the scale of GB.
Once I fully get used to the cold water shave I may just continue and cold water shave all year. pFor me it's cold water with a, generally, mentholated soap and aftershave (sometimes). I'm loving Stirling Lemon Chill right now.
Menthol, going overboard. That being said, I cold water shave regardless of outdoor temperature.

I don't know about cold showers, Luke warm I can do, I'm in there for a while especially when I'm washing my hairBeen cold water shaving for about 2 years now, will never go back! Cold showers also.

That's the English for you; anything to make food worse! I do like mint though, with lamb, tea, mojito, soap and chewing gum.
It's a bit weird that toothpaste seems to only be available in mint flavour. I think cinnamon toothpaste is much better.

Trebor Extra Strong...mmm...I got some lemon toothpaste in Egypt, it was quite nice but I'm so used to it being minty that it was odd using something different. My favourite sweets are mints too.
