I acquired a Shavex DE razor, it's Made in England with an Art Deco look, so possibly 20s or 30s.
It's a very mild shaver but is very efficient. It has a very curved base plate and this may account for the very mild yet effective shave.
I've googled and can't find anything about them apart from a mention on B&B.
Any info would be gratefully received.

Cheers.I think so. The handle's the same length as a Gillette ball end and is 15g heavier. The chrome plating might explain the extra weight.
Edit: The base plate looks like pressed steel.
